Luxury League Luncheon “Urban Land Institute and David Adelman”

photo-9Downtown developer, David Adelman whose award winning projects include Broadway 1221 lofts and the luxury, spoke about existing and future development and land opportunities in downtown San Antonio. Adelman projects the demand for apartment units will continue to rise while the condo purchase market will remain soft. Following Adelmans program, q&a topics included: lack of walkable grocery stores, streetcars, light rail on I-10, Amazon’s Schwartz warehouse with refrigerator capacity for same day grocery delivery, as short-term solution for lack of grocery store.



Downtown Symposium / Thinkers and Doers of SA

With three power presentations packed into 60 minutes, the 3rd Real Estate Symposium had a focus on the  “Decade of Downtown”. Topics included: Hemisfair—soon to be your urban oasis… , What’s Moving Downtown, and Target the Heart. Renew. Reconnect. Revitalize. Following the presentations, we ended the afternoon with a happy hour put on by our wonderful affiliates.
